A thornless, mid-season blackberry which delivers an extended picking period from July to end September. The berries are large, shiny and with the most aromatic flavour of any variety. The robust plants are compact with strong upright growth. Ideal for the smaller gardener.

Plant in a sunny position with free draining soil. If you have chalky, sandy or heavy clay soil, improve with plenty of bulky organic matter before planting. Allow spacings from 2m to 3.5m per plant and support the stems using framework or train against a trellis or wall. Apply a layer of organic mulch annually ensuring that this is not too close to the new growth to prevent rotting. In autumn, prune the canes which have fruited to ground level whilst the canes which have not fruited should be ‘tied in’ to their supports.
